Breakfast Congee

Congee can be made in the Instant Pot and can be made with meatballs for a savory dinner or lunch, but I also like to make it with a soft boiled egg sometimes for a simple breakfast.

  • Ingredients



    1. Heat the rice, stock, and water in a clay pot.
    2. When the rice comes to a boil, add the pickled mustard greens and lower the heat to low and set a timer for 20 minutes.
    3. After 20 minutes, add chopped meat and cover for another 25 minutes on low heat.
    4. Top with a soft boiled egg and serve.
